The report Global Governance Initiative: Towards a More Just, Inclusive and Orderly World, prepared by the Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy Studies Centre, was released on Saturday during the 2026 Global Governance Forum (Xiongan) in the Xiongan New Area, North China's Hebei Province.

The report examines the justice challenge, inclusiveness crisis and order challenge facing the current global governance system and outlines the five core principles of the Global Governance Initiative (GGI): sovereign equality, the international rule of law, multilateralism, a people-centered approach, and real actions.

It presents the GGI as a Chinese solution for reforming and improving global governance, emphasizing that the initiative is an important underpinning for advancing toward a more just, inclusive and orderly world.

The report also reviews China's practical efforts to translate the GGI from conceptual vision into practical action and identifies key areas for advancing its implementation, including UN reform, international relations, international security, development, human rights, economic and financial governance, artificial intelligence, cyberspace, civilizational exchanges and mutual learning.
