China marks 81st anniversary of Taiwan's restoration

China is marking the 81st anniversary of Taiwan's restoration from Japanese colonial rule. Commemorative events are being held across the country on Sunday. In Fuzhou, the capital of east China's Fujian Province, a symposium has brought together participants from both sides of the Taiwan Strait to remember history, honor the martyrs, stay alert to the resurgence of Japanese militarism, and stand firm for national unity.
