Power restored to quake-hit village in Xizang

State Grid electricians braved aftershocks and sandstorms to restore power to dozens of prefabricated homes in a quake-hit village in Nagqu, Southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region, on Sunday.

Over eight hours of work, crews dispatched to Baqen county's Maru township installed utility poles, laid cables and connected equipment, getting electricity to all 60 homes ahead of the winter cold.
