More than 90 years ago, the Chinese Red Army crossed snow-covered mountains and vast grasslands, breaking through blockades and surviving immense hardship.

Their sacrifice and determination made the Long March one of the most remarkable journeys in modern history.

Throughout the years, numerous artists have paid tribute to the victory and spirit of the Long March through their works.

Ninety years later, the journey continues.

Today, China is facing a new set of challenges and opportunities, embarking on what could be seen as a new "Long March." From advanced manufacturing to artificial intelligence, technologies once considered impossible are becoming reality in China.

The challenges may be different, but the determination to overcome obstacles, open new paths and move confidently toward the future remains.

More than 90 years ago, the Chinese Red Army built three bridges in Zhenfeng County, southwest China's Guizhou Province, to cross the Beipan River. Today, the Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge spans the river, cutting the cross-river trip of more than two hours to just a few minutes. (Photo: China Media Group)
