China is deeply concerned about the protracted hostilities and their spillover impacts, Guo said at a press briefing, calling on relevant parties to resolve their differences through dialogue and negotiation, and to achieve a sustainable ceasefire at an early date.
He said China has consistently been committed to promoting peace talks.
In this regard, China will launch special envoy visits to countries in the aforementioned regions to facilitate engagement and dialogue among all parties, and help ease tensions and prevent further deterioration of the situation, Guo said.
