Chinese shares close lower Friday

BEIJING, Oct. 30 (Xinhua) -- Chinese stocks closed lower on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 1.44 percent to 3,599.02 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed 2.73 percent lower at 10,833.78 points.
