The Friday meeting of the leading Party members group of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) also discussed measures to implement the guiding principles of the plenum in the practical work of people's congresses.

The meeting stated that the resolution comprehensively summarizes the achievements and experience of full and rigorous Party self-governance in the new era, conducts an in-depth analysis of the situation and tasks facing Party building, and makes strategic arrangements for the Party's endeavors to supervise, govern, develop and strengthen itself both at present and in the period to come.
