Ex-senior Beijing political advisor arrested for suspected bribe-taking

BEIJING, July 29 (Xinhua) -- China's Supreme People's Procuratorate has ordered the arrest of Yu Luming, formerly a senior political advisor of Beijing, for suspected bribe-taking.

The case was transferred to procuratorial authorities for prosecution following an investigation by the National Supervisory Commission, an official statement said Friday.

Yu was formerly vice chairman of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
