Qian seriously violated the law and Party disciplines, the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China (CCDI), China’s top anti-corruption agency, said Monday.

The investigation found that Qian had accepted bribes in the form of travel, fitness and other activities. He had also accepted many gifts and consumer cards and other property.

He was involved in gambling with private business owners, the investigation results indicate.

His property is being confiscated. Qian’s case will be transferred to the procuratorate for review and prosecution.
