FedEx has improved several services to make sure transportation and logistics for the China International Import Expo are more efficient, according to thepaper.cn report on Saturday.

As one of the earliest invited companies into the China International Import Expo, the US-based courier delivery services firm has come up with many transportation solutions combining creative technologies and more efficient services.

Better transportation solutions include an automatic transport tool, a service newly added onto FedEx website enabling customers to arrange collection online with flexible consignment service, cost and speed.

Improved transportation solutions also include faster response speed. Packages that are imported to China now can be processed faster in about two hours instead of 1-3 days previously, and it's possible to send packages to China the next day.

The improved transportation solutions also include "one stop" customs clearance, which enables more efficient customs clearance and instant transportation.

FedEx says the series of improved services are not only for the China International Import Expo, but will be long-term services for the Chinese market.
