A fire broke out near Qipan Mountain in Shenyang City in northeast China's Liaoning Province on Wednesday afternoon, according to local authorities.

The fire broke out at about 1:50 p.m. local time and spread fast due to severe winds.

Firefighters, helicopters and fire trucks have been dispatched to the site to battle the blaze.

No casualties have been reported so far. An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
