At least six people were killed after a fire broke out at a metal products shop in southern China's Guangdong Province early Wednesday, according to local media.

The incident happened in Zhongshan city's Tanzhou Township, local authorities said.  

The fire was reportedly put out at 4:00 a.m. on Wednesday. The incident is currently under investigation.
