Six re-ignition points appeared on the west, northwest, northeast, and east sections of the mountain due to a rise in temperature and winds, according to an aerial survey on Sunday.
Six hundred ten people from the Fujian Forest Fire Corps and its maneuvering team were responsible for four fire zones, and two other areas were handled by the local professional fire brigade.
At present, each of the teams performs its own functions. They are working hard to extinguish the fire by means of combining ground-air coordination and with efforts on the ground.
Due to strong winds, the smoky atmosphere, and dense vegetation, rescue progress has been slow.
