Five people are missing after afishing boat from the Chinese mainland capsized in waters near Penghu County in Southeast China's Taiwan on Monday morning.

Maritime patrol authorities from Taiwan and the mainland are jointly conducting the search. One sailor was saved 6 hours after the accident.

The search area is undergoing bad weather causing poor visibility, which makes the rescue more difficult.
