The 6th World Internet Conference will be held from October 20-22 in Wuzhen, east China's Zhejiang Province. Different from the "1+2" structure of the previous, this year's conference will add a sector of global internet competition, called “Straight to Wuzhen”, forming a new pattern of "1+3" hosting the conference.

The conference will be co-hosted by the Cyberspace Administration of China and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province. Themed around “Intelligent Interconnection for Openness and Cooperation: Building a Community with a Shared Future in Cyberspace,” the summit focuses on enhancing the visitors' and users' experience by introducing technologies and products that integrate 5G, AI and VR with people's daily lives.

As one of the important and innovative parts of the conference, the global internet competition is an international event focusing on the digital economy within the year. The competition aims to attract internet elites from home and abroad to Wuzhen, jointly explore new technologies, patterns and commercial forms of business for the development of the internet, and build a global internet platform.
