BEIJING, June 14 (Xinhua) -- Don't look down if you're scared of heights.

From Saturday, visitors to the Fuxi Grand Canyon in central China's Henan Province will be able to see straight down to the canyon floor 360 meters below as they walk on the world's longest horseshoe-shaped glass bridge.

This glass bridge extends 30 meters (about 98 feet) out over the rim of the canyon, nine meters longer than the Grand Canyon Skywalk in Arizona, according to Science and Technology Daily.

After eight months' construction, the glass platform has undergone extensive tests. Without a stay cable structure, the bridge is made up of 150 pieces of laminated toughened glass and 3,000 tonnes of steel.

The Fuxi Grand Canyon, 60 kilometers from Zhengzhou, capital of Henan, is a scenic area featuring waterfalls, springs, mountains and caves.
