Those who participate in violent and criminal activities will be held accountable in accordance with the law, including the behind-the-scenes masterminds, organizers and directors, Yang Guang, spokesperson for the Hong Kong and Macao Affairs Office of the State Council, said on Tuesday concerning the frequent violent protests in Hong Kong recently.
