HONG KONG, March 18 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong stocks closed up 396.75 points, or 1.37 percent, to 29,409.01 points on Monday.

The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 29,034.13 and 29,409.01. Turnover totaled 116.89 billion Hong Kong dollars (about $14.89 billion).
