Chinese netizens were amused by an accident between a real horse and a brand-new luxury car Maserati, whose name in Chinese is pronounced similarly to the word for horse, in Linyi, East China's Shandong Province on Monday.
The horse's owner was walking the animal across the street when the car driver suddenly honked the horn of the luxury car and frightened the horse, which kicked and damaged the car.
Fortunately, the dispute was quickly settled.
The owner of the horse offered to compensate the car owner for the damage that the animal had caused. Meanwhile, the car owner apologized for frightening the horse.
Netizens said the incident had rarely happened and joked that neither of the owners of the two "horses" were short of money.
