Chinese tech company Huawei on Friday responded to the reports of Poland's arrest of its employee, saying the company complies with all applicable laws.

The response came after Polish media reported that the country has arrested a Chinese employee of Huawei and a Polish national involved in cyber business on allegations of spying.

"We are aware of the situation, and we are looking into it. We have no comment for the time being," Huawei said.

"Huawei complies with all applicable laws and regulations in the countries where it operates, and we require every employee to abide by the laws and regulations in the countries where they are based," it added.
