World Intelligent Manufacturing Summit 2018 held in this city of East China's Jiangsu Province on October 11 through 13 has been themed "Empowering the Future through Intelligent Manufacturing". 

Bridging an international communication and cooperation platform integrating industry events, advanced exhibitions, summit forums and intelligent experiences, the summit welcomed over 10,000 visitors and about 200 exhibiting companies, bringing together a new vision of intelligent manufacturing to lead a new future of industry.

World-leading smart manufacturing firms, authorities and cutting-edge experts gathered in Nanjing to explore new visions of smart manufacturing and foster new momentum in economic development.

A large number of famous enterprises gathered to create a multi-dimensional international exchange and cooperation platform. From frontier exhibitions, roadshows, to summit forums and intelligent experiences, there are nearly 200 delegates from Germany, France, the United States, Japan, Sweden, Austria, Greece, the United Kingdom, Singapore and other countries, and a total of 1,953 exhibitors.

Working with top domestic and international institutions, the summit has witnessed a series of industry reports published and technologies released, which continuously enhanced the professionalism and cutting edge feature of the event.

This year's conference is equipped with a variety of intelligent technology facilities and experience links, integrating technology, culture, entertainment and other elements, adopting intelligent conference services such as face recognition and voice synchronization translation, covering online and offline, virtual and reality, and enhancing the sense of interaction. 

Functioning as a hub, the summit is integrating elements from production, study and research, strengthening resources and mechanisms.

Delegates are organized to visit colleges and universities, industrial parks. Meanwhile, they also held special matchmaking meetings, for further cooperation in research, industrial internationalization process, and resources allocation.

14 city leaders held discussions over intelligent manufacturing.

Yangzhou, east China's Jiangsu Province, joined the "Nanjing Metropolitan Area Intelligent Manufacturing Development Alliance" at the event.
