Medical and hotel staff at a hotel in the virus-stricken city of Zhuhai, Guangdong Province have been moved by children's paintings posted on the doors of quarantine rooms.

More than 10 children in isolation at the Dehan Hotel expressed gratitude in their own way to the staff after watching them working every day.

The children wrote words of gratitude and drew tigers with best wishes for the upcoming Chinese new year for hard-working staff at the hotel.

"Every day at the isolation hotel, we medical staff spend long hours sampling nucleic acid tests," said Hu Binwen, deputy chief physician of the department of pediatrics, Guangdong Chinese Medicine Hospital Zhuhai branch. "But after seeing these children's paintings, we feel that all the hard work was worth it. Their cute pictures took our fatigue away and we feel deeply warmed."
