CHANGCHUN, July 25 (Xinhua) -- China's Jilin Province reported four new asymptomatic COVID-19 cases on Friday, the provincial health commission said Saturday.

The cases were found as Jilin carried out screening for returnees from the city of Dalian in Liaoning Province, which had reported a total of 12 confirmed domestically transmitted cases as of 3 p.m. Friday.

All the close contacts of the four asymptomatic cases have been put under quarantine, according to the commission.

By Friday, Jilin had not reported new confirmed locally transmitted COVID-19 cases and new imported cases for 62 consecutive days and 84 consecutive days, respectively. Enditem
