On Friday, the medical team sent to Wuhan by Qilu Hospital of Shandong University came across their colleagues from West China Hospital of Sichuan University at the Wuhan airport. They are going to take over the eastern section of Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University together.

“Qilu from the east, West China from the west, Peking Union from the north and Xiangya from the south.” This is how Chinese netizens refer to the combination of top medical teams sent from all over China to support Wuhan. The nickname draws inspiration from classic Chinese martial arts novels, where similar names are always given to the best warriors of the time.
