A knife-wielding man killed two students in Shanghai on Thursday.

The attack occurred around noon outside a primary school in Xuhui District, where a 29-year-old man stabbed four persons, killing one student immediately.

The second student was pronounced dead at a hospital. The wounded, a student and a woman, are receiving treatment at a hospital.

Police say the man, who moved to Shanghai earlier this month, carried out the attack out of frustration over his life. An investigation is ongoing.
