Chinese mainland authorities have implemented a special campaign cracking down on Taiwan spy agencies, according to a report by China Central Television on Saturday.

Taiwan’s spy agencies used various methods to spy on the Chinese mainland, which is detrimental to the peace and stability of cross-Strait relations, says the report.

The campaign also unveiled that young students from the Chinese mainland were targeted and used for espionage.
