Murder suspect arrested in Huai'an

Police in Huai'an, East China's Jiangsu province, arrested man suspected of killing six people and injuring one over a relationship dispute on Sunday afternoon.

Police received reports on Sunday morning that people might have been killed in an apartment in the city's Qingjiangpu district before they found the five female bodies and one male body. They also found one injured woman in the apartment.

Liu Yang, director of the provincial public security department, together with Cai Lixin, mayor of Huai'an, hurried to the site to help with the investigation. Police identified the suspect soon and arrested the suspect surnamed Wang.

Wang, 24, was in a relationship with a 21-year-old woman, according to police. He allegedly killed the woman surnamed Li and five of her relatives. The injured woman was also one of Li's friends.
