All the cases were detected during nucleic acid testing conducted on close contacts of an asymptomatic case who was reported on Sunday, according to the city's health commission.

All 11 cases are workers from the imported cold food processing workshop of a local food company, the commission said.

From Monday to Wednesday, the city will complete three consecutive rounds of mass nucleic acid testing, according to a statement released by the city's epidemic prevention and control headquarters on Sunday night.

During the same period, all public transportation services will be suspended, including buses, long-haul buses and taxis.
