A deadly traffic accident killed 9 people and injured 3 others on Sunday on a highway in eastern China's Hangzhou city in Zhejiang Province, according to Hangzhou police.

The accident involved three vans and two minibuses, among which three of the vehicles were burned. Police are investigating the incident.
