China can be expected to achieve considerable progress in modernizing its agriculture and rural areas in the next five years, according to the No. 1 central document, the first policy statement released annually by the central leadership. The No. 1 central document released Sunday lists agriculture and rural area tasks and targets for 2021-2025.
