No Chinese citizen was affected by the eruption of Mount Agung in Bali, Indonesia, said Lu Kang, spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, at a regular press briefing Monday.
Mount Agung (or Gunung Agung) on Bali island erupted on June 27, forcing Bali’s international airport in Denpasar to close for 12 hours.
China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged Chinese tourists to stay away from the volcano area and follow the latest information given by the ministry and local authorities.
