The law of the People's Republic of China on Safeguarding National Security in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) was officially approved by the country’s top legislature on June 30, 2020 and came into full effect the next day.

Some opposers attempted to spread false information and misleading knowledge arrayed and spread fake news. The law abides completely for the only purpose of preserving the long-term stability of Hong Kong within the “One Country, Two Systems” based on the rule of law. No country or individual is justified to have legitimate rights of any form to interfere with a country’s internal affairs.

The law accurately responds to severe crimes seriously endangering national security. Nonetheless, the implementation of the law is more than just to guarantee the social stability and its economic recovery aligned, it will also safeguard the overall education of Hong Kong which floats apparently over high-end but with risks in rooted depth that may shake the basis of the nation’s interests, civilization and sovereignty.

Since the implementation of the law, the large scale of violent demonstrations is vividly declining. The law has driven people back from restless uncertainty to focusing on building on sound knowledge. Schools reopened, and universities returned to normal. The education routine has recovered to the norm.

The law does not just secure the social stability of the HKSAR, it also shields the education from exterior troubles. With the enforcement of the law, those illegal rioters have been brought to justice one after another. Without their meddling into the school system, Hong Kong youth will no longer be blindsided from those minor extremists and manipulated by external politicians. Therefore, learners start calming down and thinking about what is authentically real and what is their original goal as a student.

The law has brought consciousness of all Hong Kong residents to reconsider their values and visions towards the world and history. Some young people in Hong Kong have blurry concepts about their motherland, with some positives yet a lot of negatives. The HKSAR government will go into immediate action to push forward an educational reform and the teenagers will become self-confident that China can stay as a great country with our own efforts and intelligence, and Hong Kong will prosper further in the arms of the central government.

Certain Western politicians and commentators need to turn their eyes on severe issues in-land, where some of the countries are still neglecting our common enemy, the COVID-19 pandemic. We believe that the HKSAR government and police are fully capable of punishing criminals and restoring Hong Kong’s public order and stability. To that end, everyday life in Hong Kong will resume the usual course.
