Operations in Meishan bonded area in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang Province, are back to normal on Wednesday.

According to a notice issued by the local authority on Tuesday night, the restrictions in Meishan bonded area were set to be lifted on Wednesday morning, CCTV reported.

The notice emphasized that all units in the bonded area should resume work and production in strict accordance with health control and prevention measures. The current priority is to load and unload cargo while ensuring the facility is adequately staffed.

Moreover, all units should strengthen internal management, sanitize and disinfect key areas, and organize external vehicles to enter the area in an orderly manner to ensure the smooth operation of traffic and avoid congestion caused by short-time delivery peaks.

Operations at the Meishan wharf at the Ningbo Zhoushan Port, one of the world's busiest cargo ports, were suspended starting on August 11 due to a positive COVID-19 case.
