Spring Festival Eve Dinner, or Tuanyuanfan in Chinese, also known as the Family Reunion Dinner, is one of the most important dinners for Chinese families. 

On Chinese New Year's Eve, family members living near and far will try their best to get home for the dinner and celebrations. 

The tradition has lasted for about 2,000 years, but as people's livelihoods improve, the dishes of the feast change every year.
