Xi calls for efforts to win war on drugs

Thailand searches for soccer team trapped in flooded cave
Thailand continues the search for 12 boys and the coach of a soccer team trapped in a flooded cave in Chiang May.
Deputy Prime Minister Prawit Wongsuwan told reporters he believes the boys are still alive.

China to cut tariffs on some goods from Asia-Pacific nations
China will cut import tariffs on goods from certain Asia-Pacific countries starting July.
That' s according to the State Council, China’s cabinet.
China will reduce tariffs on soybeans from India, South Korea, Bangladesh, Laos, and Sri Lanka from the current 3 percent to zero.
Imported products such as chemicals, agricultural products, medical supplies, clothing, steel and aluminum products from these countries will also enjoy certain tariff cuts. (China Daily)

S. Korea, DPRK begin talks to connect, modernize inter-Korean railways
South Korea and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea begin talks on ways to connect and modernize inter-Korean railways.
Both sides are meeting at a South Korean building in the border village of Panmunjom.
The talks are focused on connecting railways along the eastern and western corridors across the two Koreas. (Xinhua)

Two airplanes collide at S. Korean airport
No casualties have been reported from a minor collision of two passenger jets at an airport in South Korea.
The collision happened at about 8:00 am local time at a Gimpo airport, outside of Seoul, while the two jets were moving to their respective boarding gates.

Trump slams Harley-Davidson for overseas production decision
And US President Donald Trump slams Harley-Davidson for deciding to manufacture motorcycles overseas.
The Wisconsin-based motorcycle firm says the increased costs of production from EU tariffs were a "substantial" burden.
It says it would move US production to international factories to avoid raising retail or wholesale prices for EU customers.
That could cost them up to $100 million per year. (People's Daily app)
