Two policemen from Zhejiang Province went viral on Chinese social media after they rescued a woman from an attempted suicide in Jiangshan.

Xu Shuaijun and Jiang Bo responded to an emergency call on Friday.

The caller said a woman was standing on the edge of an observation platform that overlooked a river and appeared to be ready to jump.

After arriving at the scene, the two officers tried to talk the woman down but to no avail as she fell into the river.

Xu and Jiang jumped into the river to save the woman from drowning.

All three were rescued by an inflatable raft within three minutes.

The girl was rushed to a local hospital and did not sustain injuries.

A photographer who was standing nearby filmed the two policemen in action and uploaded the video online.

The footage went viral as Chinese netizens praised the heroic efforts of the two policemen.
