Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in North China's Tianjin for an inspection tour on Thursday. At Nankai University, he went to an exhibition on the school's 100 years of history and held a seminar to exchange ideas with academicians, experts and young teachers. He also visited the college of chemistry and the State Key Laboratory of Elemento-organic Chemistry, while getting acquainted with the history, discipline building, talent pool and innovation of scientific research at the school.
