Quakes hit Southwest China's Yunnan

A 5.0-magnitude earthquake jolted Yangbi Yi autonomous county in Southwest China's Yunnan Province at 9:55 pm Beijing time, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.

The epicenter was located at 25.67 degrees north latitude and 99.89 degrees east longitude at a depth of 8 kilometers, the center said.

A 5.6-magnitude quake hit 9:21 pm and a 6.4-magnitude quake hit at 9:48 pm.
