Primary school headmaster Chen Wenshui, 46, has become an internet sensation with close to 100,000 followers since he started sharing the lives of his students last September, in a village in Shunping county, Baoding, Hebei Province. (Photos: VCG)

"Hi everyone! Today the children will have two dishes and apples," Chen livestreamed when children were having lunch on March 25.

Chen could have worked in the local government, but he chose to become the headmaster of the village's only primary school.

"Here are 218 students who want to go out of the mountains," Chen said. He wants to get better study resources for his students through livestreams. Helping children go out and join the bigger world has always been Chen's wish. (Compiled by Zhan Huilan)
