Zeng Zhiquan, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee, has been put under investigation, China's top anti-graft body said Wednesday.

Zeng, also Head of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee, is being investigated for alleged "severe disciplinary and law violation," according to a statement from the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
