Seven tested positive for COVID-19 in South China's Zhuhai

Seven people were tested positive for COVID-19 by mass nucleic acid testing in Zhuhai, South China's Guangdong Province, the government said in a press conference on Friday.

The cases were reported as Omicron based on preliminary gene sequencing results.

One COVID-19 case was reported Thursday morning in Zhongshan, a city adjoining Zhuhai.
