Facilitated measures include offering green passages and instant services for foreigners in need of urgent visa services due to epidemic prevention and control, such as the delay of business resumption or days of in-house quarantine.
A 24-hour hotline is also in service for questions concerning exit-entry administration.
As of Monday, the city's exit-entry administration authorities had provided over 400 instant services of visa application and issuance for foreigners.
Shanghai has issued tips in multiple languages on public prevention of the epidemic via China's social media platform Weibo, text messages and the official website to offer services to over 170,000 foreigners in the city.
