The Shanghai High People's Court is to issue 4-thousand brochures on preventing campus bullying to middle school students in the city, reports thepaper.cn.

The brochures, laid out with cartoons, depict different types of campus bullying, how to prevent young people from being bullied and the impact bullying has on victims.

Previous surveys conducted by the Court suggests most bullies are aged between 16 and 18, and mostly target their classmates and schoolmates.

The Shanghai High People's Court is the first in China that set up a special juvenile judicial protection website designed to help create better communication between teenagers and their parents, with the goal of trying to control juvenile crime at its roots.
