The entire city of Shijiazhuang, including the Gaocheng district, will be categorized as low risk for COVID-19 starting from next Monday, Jiang Wenhong, deputy mayor of Shijiazhuang, announced Sunday.

This adjustment came after all residents in Gaocheng district tested negative for the coronavirus on Saturday. Jiang stressed that regular preventive and control measures must be strictly enforced to guard against a rebound of the virus, including mask wearing, social distancing, temperature testing and health code scanning.
