All parts of Southwest China’s Sichuan Province are rated low risk of COVID-19, after two middle and high risk areas in the Chenghua district of Chengdu city were cleared Tuesday, according to local health authorities.

Since Chengdu reported one confirmed case related to the latest flare-up of the pandemic on November 2, the city has registered one high-risk area and 12 middle-risk areas of COVID-19. These areas reopened and were brought back under regular pandemic control starting November 16.
