Southwest China's Sichuan Province has plans to train 50 leading lawyers familiar with foreign legal affairs in the coming five years.

The lawyers will be trained to help provide legal services on cases involving foreign laws and help to serve the needs of companies with businesses overseas, local news outlet newssc.org reported.

The move also aims to support legal services required by the Belt and Road initiative, said the report.
