Passengers can determine which to purchase based on their appetite, thus reducing waste of food.
From July 15, the dining services on D2236 and D6266 high-speed trains in Nanchang were upgraded.
The types of dinner dishes were expanded from a dozen to over 30, providing more choices for passengers.
Small-bowl cuisines are hygienic, independently packed and don't contaminate each other when stored together.
Passengers have more choices of dishes based on the numbers of diners and their taste demands.
Apart from small-bowl cuisines in blue-and-white porcelain, Chinese traditional breakfasts, Western desserts, fresh fruits and vegetables are also available.
