Wulingyuan scenic area in Zhangjiajie, Hunan province, recently was covered in a blanket of white. The snow on the mountains and trees was reminiscent of a Chinese ink painting seen from afar, enticing visitors to take pictures.

During the upcoming Spring Festival holiday between Jan 21 and 27, admission will be free at several tourist spots in the scenic area — including Tianmenshan, Huanglongdong and Baofenghu.
