In recent years, shared study rooms have become popular in major cities in China. It's a new space for people to prepare for exams, where entrepreneurs see a business opportunity.

According to the 2020 "Summer Education Industry Recovery Big Data Report" released by Meituan, “study room-sharing" has soared to the highest trending search in adult education and training, which increased more than 10 times over the same period last year. While many industries are struggling due to the Covid-19, study room-sharing is booming.

The targeted group includes college students who are preparing for postgraduate entrance examinations or civil service entrance examinations, professionals who want to improve themselves after getting off work, and middle school students who are sent by their parents to do their homework. They spend about 8 to 15 dollars a day to find a quiet place to study.
