BEIJING, June 4 (Xinhua) -- About 96 percent of Chinese college students have an excellent or good rapport with their parents, according to a survey released by the China Youth Daily Tuesday.

The survey, conducted by China University Media Alliance, asked 561 respondents from more than 100 colleges nationwide about their relationship with their parents.

Instead of the stereotype of being rebellious or uninterested in communicating with parents, students born after 1995 actually value the kinship and are more open to express their love to their parents, the newspaper said.
